Aloft Hotels

Aloft Hotels are affordable modern style hotel rooms.  How much better does that look over your typical Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn Suite!?  The best part is they are in the same price range: $115-$150.  At least those were the prices that I experienced around the Baltimore and Philadelphia Areas.  I’m actually in one now as I’m typing.  A guy at the front desk said that new ones are being opened daily, surely near big cities and near airports.  Check out Aloft, these are my favorite hotels that I’ve been in thus far for the price!  Look at me sell with my broken typing.

Madden 10

I suppose since I just made a post about my new Blackberry, I may was well talk about the most recent game I’m obsessed with, Madden 10.  Yes there is a new one that comes out each year, where its mostly just updated rosters and a few minor tweaks with gameplay, but this year there is a completely different feel with a completely awesome presentation.  It really feels like you are going though the game just like it appears on TV.  I really don’t like the commentators, and I wish that they would get rid of Collinsworth, but hey I’ll live with it.  He is just so bland that I can’t stand it.  The writing is pretty bad as well.  But overall its a great game and the best madden game that I’ve played hands down.

Blackberry Tour on VZN Network

I have fallen victim to a smart phone.  Since I was on the road I decided that I would need to get a phone where I could easily access email and the web from any highway or area when needed.  It was safe to say that the basic LG phone you get for free when you sign up for a cell phone plan was not going to cut it.  So I decided to go to the Verizon store and get myself a new phone.  It just so happened that the first day I went, the Tour was released.  I decided to buy it.  I either wanted the Tour or the Storm, but I read some reviews that stated there were some problems with the Storm, such as lag and other things.. wow that sentence was long.  But at any rate I decided on the Tour and am happy with the purchase.  I did have a slight issue with the trackball, but after I got a new one, for free under the warranty, all seems good.  Now I have no idea how I ever lived without a smart phone!
